Skiing in Uzbekistan

Chimgan and Beldersay - popular mountain ski resorts in Uzbekistan – settle down at the height of 1500 m above the sea level in the South-West part of Tien-Shan Mountains, just in 80 km from the capital of Uzbekistan - Tashkent. The cleanest mountain air, soft winter, mysterious vicinities, long ski routes, comfortable hotels, steady solar weather, absence of turns on ski lifts, fine conditions for free-ride, back-country, heli-ski, and also the picturesque east markets, traditional Uzbek hospitality, an opportunity to visit cities-pearls of Central Asia - Samarkand and Bukhara - all these points involve more and more Russian skiers and snowboarders to Uzbekistan.
The ski season begins in the middle of December and proceeds up to the middle of March.

Program

Day 1. Arrival in Tashkent which can surprise you from the first minutes with completely not winter weather. Meeting at the airport, transfer to Western part of Tien-Shan mountains (90 km, ~2 hours) - tremendous landscapes and magnificent kinds will not leave indifferent anybody from those who will have the luck to visit these places. Accommodation in the hotels of resort complexes of Beldersay or Chimgan (on a choice).

Day 2-7. Mountain ski program. Skiing on the routes of Chimgan mountain ski resort. You have at your disposal several easy routes which are equipped with the rope-tows and the main route along which the chair-lift functions. There are variants of interesting free-ride descents on the right and on the left from the lift with the falls to the ravines and egresses to the landing station. If you have a wish to change the vehicle, you can take the snowmobile or ride the horses. To diversify your rest in the evening, there are various 'apr-ski' entertainments, cafe, bars, saunas, billiards, a disco and a cosy atmosphere of a high-mountainous resort complex at your service.

Day 8. Transfer to Tashkent (90 km, ~ 2 h). The sightseeing tour about Tashkent: old city, Barrack-khan madrassah (XVI), Kafal-Shashi mausoleum (XVI), Kukeldash madrassah (XVI), the Square of Independence, the Square of Friendship of People, Tashkent underground, the Theatrical Square. Shopping, east market, purchasing of souvenirs for relatives and friends.
Transfer to the airport. Departure.

Tour cost includes:

- accommodation in the hotel in the mountains in the chosen ski resort in double-rooms (extra charge for single-room is accounted separately) – 7 nights;
- meeting/seeing off at the airport, transfer Tashkent – Beldersay (Chimgan) – Tashkent.

Tour cost does not include:

- transfer between Chimgan and Beldersay ski resorts;
- full board (dinners, suppers);
- services of the instructor;
- rent of skiing equipment;
- payment for chair-lift and roap-tow.

Any dates of arrival are possible.
