This is a wonderful tour for lovers of nature and antiquity. The itinerary crosses 3 countries of Central Asia: Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Having seen the world renowned monuments of Samarkand and Bukhara with their turquoise domes and slim minarets in Uzbekistan and crossed a hot desert and the blossoming Fergana valley - along the serpentine road of passes, you will reach the wonderful mountain lake Song-Kul (3100 m above sea level). Here you can choose 3 roads: one is to Kashgar, another - around the Pearl of Central Asia - Issyk-kul lake and further to Tashkent and the third one is through the western shore of Issyk-Kul and the well known Charyn canyon, then to Almaty (the southern capital of Kazakhstan) and Tashkent. You will never forget views of these beautiful mountain landscapes and meeting with hospitable local people such as herdsmen and craftsmen.

Option 1
Day 1
Arrival in Tashkent

Arrival in Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel and check in. Half day sightseeing in Tashkent including Barak-Khan madrassah (XVI c), Kaffal-Shashi mausoleum (XVI c), Kukeldash madrassah (XVI c), Museum of Applied Arts, Independence Square, Tashkent Metro, Uzbek National Opera House.
Day 2 Tashkent - Samarkand (330 km = 5 h)
Departure for Samarkand. Arrival in Samarkand and check in to the hotel. Half day sightseeing in Samarkand including Registan, Ulugbeg madrasah, Sher Dor madrasah, Tilla Kori mosque (1646-1659), mausoleum Gur Emir or “ruler’s tomb”, where Tamerlane was buried in 1405.
Day 3 Samarkand

Full day sightseeing in Samarkand including Rukhabad necropolis (XV c), Bibi-Khanum mosque (XV c), Ulugbek observatory (1420), Shakhi-Zinda (“The Living King”) necropolis of Samarkand rulers and nobles, oriental bazaar “Siab”.

Day 4 Samarkand – Bukhara (280 = 4,5 h)
Morning departure for Bukhara. Arrival in Bukhara, check in to the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing in Bukhara including Kalon ensemble, Miri-Arab madrassah, Magoki-Attori mosque, Ulugbek madrassah and Abdulazizkhan, trade domes, Lyabi Hauz complex, Chor-Minor madrassah.
Day 5

Bukhara – Tashkent
Full day sightseeing in Bukhara including Samani dynasty mausoleum, Arc Fortress, Chashma-Ayub, summer residence of Bukhara Emir “Sitorai-Mokhikhosa”. Night train to Tashkent.

Day 6 Tashkent – Fergana (330 km = 5 h) – Kokand – Rishtan (50 km) – Fergana
Arrival in Tashkent. Departure for Fergana. Half day sightseeing in Kokand including Khudoyarkhan`s palace (XVI c) and Rishtan - ceramic workshop of Rustam Usmanov. Way back to Fergana.
Day 7
Fergana
– Margilan – Osh (95 km = 1,5 h)
Half day sightseeing in Margilan including the Silk Factory "Edgorlik". Departure for Osh. Half day sightseeing including Jayma Bazaar, Suleiman Too (Solomon Mountain) with its 16th century Asaf-bin-Burhia mausoleum, Prophet Salamon mosque, Rabat Abdullakhan mosque, 5-6 thousand year old petrogliphs and historical museum.
Day 8 Osh - Chichkan gorge (400 km)
Transfer to Chichkan gorge. Overnight in ancient hut.
Day 9 Chichkan gorge - Son-Kul lake (250 km)
Transfer to Son - Kul lake. Overnight in yurts.
Day 10 Son-Kul lake - Djety Oguz gorge (375 km)
Transfer to Djety Oguz gorge. Overnight in yurts.
Day 11 Djety Oguz gorge
Walking along Djety Oguz. Overnight in yurts.
Day 12 Djety Oguz gorge - Almaty (385 km)
Transfer to Almaty with the sightseeing in Charyn canyon.
Day 13 Almaty – Chimkent
Full day sightseeing in Almaty including the park of 28 Panfilov`s guardsmen, the wooden cathedral St. Nicalo`s, the museum of National Musical instruments, alpine skating-ring Medeo, Kok-Tube hill, local bazaar. Night train to Chimkent.
Day 14 Chimkent - Tashkent (120 km)
Departure for Tashkent. Free time.
Day 15 Tashkent - departure
Transfer to the airport, departure.
Option 2
Days 1-11 The same as in Option 1
Day 12 Djety Oguz gorge - Cholpon-Ata (180 km)
Transfer to Cholpon-Ata. Rest at Issyk - Kul lake.
Day 13

Cholpon-Ata - Bishkek (255 km)
Transfer to Bishkek. Half day sightseeing in Bishkek including Historical Museum, Museum of fine arts, National park Ala-Archa.

Flight to Tashkent.

Transfer to the airport, departure.

Days 1-10 The same as in Option 1
Day 11 Djety Oguz gorge - Tash-Rabat (495 km)
Transfer to Tash – Rabat. Overnight in yurts.
Day 12 Tash-Rabat - Torugart pass (90 km)
Transfer to Torugart pass. Cross Kyrgyz - Chinese border. Transfer to Kashgar.
