Big walls of Karavshin

Area of the Turkestan ridge (Pamiro-Alay system) reminds the South American Patagonia – the same wild district blown by winds, rivers with the cleanest water, the Alpine meadows, the glaciers surrounded with five-thousand meters tops and there are no signs of civilization at all. For fans of technically difficult ascensions there is a set of interesting routes, from rather simple to very difficult.

PROGRAM

Day 1. Arrival to Tashkent/Bishkek.

Day 2. Transfer from Tashkent to Osh/Flight from Bishkek to Osh.

Day 3. Transfer from Osh through Batken city to mountain village Vorukh.

(L=310km; T=9h). Guesthouse. **

Day 4. Trek with Caravan along gorges of Karavshin and Karasu rivers to Base

Camp (BC) «Karavshin».

Day 5. Acquaintance with area of the camp, preparing for ascensions.

Days 6-24 (19 days). Acclimatization and ascensions.

Day 25. Reserve Day.

Day 26. Trek along mountain gorge to Vorukh mountain village. Guesthouse.

Day 27. Transfer through Batken city to Osh city (L=300km, T=9h).

Hotel or guesthouse.

Day 28. Transfer to Tashkent/Flight to Bishkek

Day 29. Departure from Tashkent/Bishkek.

* The program can be prolonged by pre-request till 5-6 weeks.

** The option of transfer from Tashkent to Vorukh through Tajikistan is avaiable.
