Short brief:
Offered tourist rout lies via territory of two republics: Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Two majestic ancient countries – Bactria and Sogdiana formerly existed on the territory of these republics. The ruins of the ancient fortresses of Merv, Khorezm, Afrosiab are preserved hither reminding of those times. During the Middle Ages a huge empire of Tamerlane had been prospering in here. Almost perfectly kept monuments of those times - Mausoleum of Tamerlane, Registan Square and others will tell you about the grandeur of that epoch. However, even modern aspect of the cities and valley, picturesque East Bazaars, unique culture and traditions of local people will make a great impression on you.

Day-by-day program:

Day 1: Tashkent-arrival

Arrival to Tashkent, hearty welcome in the airport of hospitable capital of Uzbekistan!
Transfer to the hotel, check in, little time for the rest after a flight.
Meeting with guide (in case accompany-guide services weren’t included to the tour package) in the hall of hotel. Sightseeing tour in the Old Part of the city: Khast Imom complex, Mui-Mubarak Madrassah, where Osman Quran is kept (VII c.), Barak-khan Madrassah, Applied Arts museum visiting. Not far from the mentioned monuments very colorful Chor-Su oriental bazaar is located: it provides the real atmosphere of the Orient with all associated attributes!
Extension of sightseeing – New part of the city visiting: Independence square (‘Mustakillik’) and Amir Temur park visiting.
We advice you to use Tashkent’s metro as vehicle during sightseeing tour as it’s the most beautiful in the world: each station has particular non-recurrent design and could be compared with many ancient monuments with beauty.
It is possible to visit Opera and Ballet Theatre of Alisher Navoi or pottery work-shop under the direction of representatives of the famous ancient potter-makers’ Rakhimov’s dynasty by request (subjects to be paid separately).

Day 2: Tashkent - Samarkand (300 km = 5 hrs.)

After breakfast - transfer to the beautiful ancient Samarkand – the motherland of many famous oriental poets, wise men and scientists.
You will have not a long road and city will be meeting you with its blue domes from a distance!
Check in to the hotel for a rest and start sightseeing tour in “Eden of the Orient”- that name was given to Samarkand by the philosophers and poets of the past.
Today you will see this famous city in all its beauty : visit Registan square (XVII c) including Ulugbek Madrassah (1417-1420), Sher-Dor Madrassah (1619-1636), Tillya-Kori (1647-1660) Madrassah,  Gur-Emir mausoleum , Bibi-Khanum mosque (XVc.), Shokhi-Zinda (XII-XVc) architectural assemble, Ulugbek observatory(XVc.). Night in hotel.

Day 3: Samarkand – ‘Aydar’ yurt camp (300 km = 5 hrs.)

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with driver of our company and transfer to the real yurt camp!
Don’t be surprised as Orient is also associated with beautiful cozy yurts – warm abode of the nomads.
Visit Nurata-city en route, where you will see: Brothers Khasan and Khusan Mosque – “Chashma” holy spring - Namozgokh Mosque (10 c) which was reconstructed by Emir Abdullah in 1582 - Sheykh Khasan Nuri Madrassah (16-17 cc) - ruins of Alexander the Great citadel.
Check in the yurts and having a rest upon arrival to yurt camp.
Evening - dinner under the open sky sparkling with million of stars.
After dinner you will see fascinating folklore show: akyn – singer of the national tunes will be singing for you at the camp-fire. Night in yurt.

Day 4: ‘Aydaryurt camp - Bukhara

Breakfast at the saloon-tent and then - transfer (by camels or on vehicle) to Aydarkul Lake.
Then you will have a lunch (made of lake fish) in tent located in lakeside of Aydarkul. You can enjoy the rest swimming in water of the unique Aydarkul Lake, become brown laying in chaise longue set closely to the lakeside.
Departure yurt camp and transfer to Bukhara – the real Central Asian pearl, sacred Muslims’ city, which with solicitude is kept ancient monuments, the beauty of little ancient streets and romantic appeal of centuries-old walls and houses.
Upon arrival you will have free time for rest and leisure. But don’t waste it just for having a rest inside the hotel.
It’s better to walk along mysterious and attractive Bukhara – not without a reason exactly this city is a motherland of Nasreddin - famous Oriental wise man.
Exactly in Bukhara many philosophers and scientists lived and created, enjoyed with surrounding beauty and increased their wisdom.

Day 5: Bukhara

Breakfast at the hotel.
Bukhara is the real Oriental fairy-tale, city with small romantic streets, which unsurpassed has preserved the beauty and charm of the ancient walls.
Monuments here are located close to each other and that’s why sightseeing tour will be organized without use of vehicle.
Today you will see: Samanids’ dynasty mausoleum (IX-X cc), Chashma-Ayub burial-vault (XIV-XIX cc), Kalon ensemble, Madrassah Miri-Arab, Madrassah Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan, Lyabi Hauz complex (XVI-XVII), Kukeldash Madrassah (1568), Arc Fortress (VI-VIIcc), Chor-Minor Madrassah,
Don’t forget to visit trade domes of ancient Bukhara bazaar-even in case you won’t buy any souvenir or Bukhara ancient adornment (that is highly unlikely)you will get many pleasant impressions and gain extensive insight  about Orient and its inhabitants.

Day 6: Bukhara

Breakfast at the hotel. This day we are to have sightseeing tour out of city.
And transport using will be necessary for it.
You will see summer palace of Bukhara emirs Sitorai-Mokhikhosa (XIX c), Bakhaadin Nakshbandi complex and Chor-Bakr necropolis (city of shadows, which was the property of majestic religious rulers family of Djubarian sheikhs).
Don’t waste time for leisure as the rest in hotel – it will be better to walk again and again along this unique city!

Day7: BukharaMary/Turkmenistan (390 km = 7.5 hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning you will depart Bukhara and have a transfer to Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan border point Farab. After border formalities from the both sides and crossing the border you will meet with the guide on Turkmenistan side and drive further to Mary.

Mary is the second largest town in Turkmenistan; it is located in 350 km to the east of Ashgabat - the capital of Turkmenistan. In 1937 the name of the city was changed from ‘Merv’ to ‘Mary’ and it became one of the largest cities of Turkmenistan.

Day 8: Mary-Merv-Ashgabat (evening flight)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then you will be taken to Merv to have fascinating sightseeing tour!
Merv – the ‘pearl of the Orient’-is the one of the most ancient city of Central Asia.
Being restored during centuries Merv were spread for the territory of 100 square meters.
Five different cities had changed one another being built in place of present-day Merv.
You will see Sanjar Dar-al Khir mausoleum, Abdulakhan-kala fortress ruins (XV c), Alexandria, Antiochia, Sultan Kala fortress during excursion.
Afternoon - drive to the airport for the evening flight to Ashgabat.

Day 9: Ashgabat -Nisa (16 km=0,5 hr.) - Ashgabat

Breakfast at the hotel.
Than you will start your meeting with Ashgabat.
You will have very interesting fascinating tour during which you will see Central Square of the city with majestic buildings located there as State Library, ‘Ashgabat’ hotel, Theatre square, National Museum of History & Ethnography of Turkmenistan, etc.
Than you will have a short trip in located close to Ashgabat ancient Nisa- grand architectural complex, ancient Parthian settlement and also ruins of Anau, located just in 16 km from Ashgabat.
Then you will return to Ashgabat.

Day 10: Ashgabat –Dashoguz (early morning flight)- Kunya Urgench(120 km=2 hrs.)- Khiva

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport due to have a flight to Dashoguz.
Continue drive to Kunya Urgench. Visit Kunya Urgench historical site, see: mausoleums of Turebek-Khanym, Sultan Tekesh, Sultan Il Arslan, Najmad-din-Kubra, Sultan Ali.
Discover the Kutlug Timur minaret & Kyrk Molla, Izmukhir. Return drive to Dashoguz. Cross the border to Khiva in Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan Shavat border point.
Night in hotel.

Day 11: Khiva – Urgench (30 km=0,5 hrs.) - Tashkent (evening flight)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Khiva is the most ancient and interesting city-museum under open sky.
Monuments here are located close to each other, inside the walls of Ichan Qala internal city: UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will seethe following monuments: Allakulikhan Madrassah(XVIII – XIX cc), Muhammad Amin Khan Madrassah (XIX c), Kalta Minor, Pakhlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, Islom Khoja Minaret, Juma Mosque, Toshhovli and other.
Don’t forget to visit bazaar!
In the evening transfer to the airport in Urgench, flight to Tashkent. Arrival to Tashkent, transfer to the hotel.
