I had been dreaming of a journey through Central Asia for a long time — inspired by the stories of Hodja Nasreddin, wonderful Eastern fairy tales, and the aroma of magical spices in our markets. Any trip begins with choosing a route and a travel company whose professionalism you trust with your mood, health, and money. We found all of this with the tour operator “Asia Travel,” which organized a pleasant and comfortable introduction to Uzbekistan for us.
Our group of six friends fit perfectly in a Toyota minibus, and even the 7-hour drive from Khiva to Bukhara didn’t feel difficult. Everything was organized clearly, thoughtfully, and comfortably: the airport transfers were on time and convenient, the hotels were good and well located, and the guides in all three cities were delightful, educated, punctual people who were ready to adjust the route according to our interests.
The cars were clean and comfortable, and our kind-hearted driver always suggested the best places to eat depending on what we wanted — fish, plov, vegetables…
Overall, the company managed to create for us an oriental fairy tale along the route of Uzbekistan’s three best cities — Khiva, Bukhara, and Samarkand.
Many thanks to the Head Manager, Pak Tatyana, and all the employees of “Asia Travel” for our wonderful voyage in Uzbekistan.**
